Front sunroof frame – Suzuki Jimny Cabriolet

In addition to the original-style Suzuki Jimny soft top, we now offer a front sunroof frame made of steel and fiberglass, designed to replace the original all-steel frame.

This part, also known as a linkage arm or pivot arm, enables the forward and backward tilting motion of the sunroof.  When installing the front section of the soft top, the frame slides into it and is secured using the original snap fasteners.

Unlike the factory version, this new frame is corrosion-resistant while maintaining structural strength thanks to its hybrid composition. The steel section ensures rigidity, while the fiberglass eliminates rust issues that commonly affect original models.

This reinforcement is especially valuable for Suzuki Jimny Cabriolets, where humidity often causes oxidation of the sunroof frame. Our replacement frame provides a long-lasting solution, ensuring a perfect fit for the soft top and smooth sunroof operation.

This part is also essential if you currently have a hard-top and wish to convert your Jimny into a cabriolet: it allows the front section of the soft top to tilt and open just like the original model, while improving the reliability of the mechanism.
